Oh My God, fans – what a month of May we had, at the Rampage!

Simply unbelievable events unfolded….with true chaos & carnage resulting!

The evening of May 12^th began with a bang.  Then a slam.  Then a crash.  Then a thud……

When the most dangerous man in professional wrestling, the 300+ pound “Notorious” Shane Taylor (with his ominous manager, the Vixxxen called Dylan, at his side) squared off against the enigmatic renegade known as Ivan Radsky.

These two powerhouses went at it, blow for blow, smash for smash, simply pounding on each other with all of their might.

The unstoppable force (Shane Taylor) met up with the immovable object (Ivan Radsky) and created both thunder & lightening!

What a match this was, featuring mayhem and destruction beyond comparison, until finally, the Notorious One was able to put the game Renegade away.

Whew!  I was sore from just watching the incredible action!

Next up, though, was perhaps the saddest moment in the long and historic legacy of Pro Wrestling Rampage…..

When the “Man Among Men,” Lumberjack LeRoux (probably the most honorable and respected wrestler in the tri-state area) was forced to relinquish his Lake Erie Championship, which he had worked so hard to acquire, during 8 months of fighting through blood, sweat, & tears.

Always a true fan-favorite (especially with the younger attendees of PWR), the legendary Lumberjack is not currently medically cleared to compete, for the Rampage.

(Rest assured, fans, once the doctors give the OK, LeRoux will once again proudly enter the ring, for PWR!)

As such, Lumberjack was forced to “hand over” the Lake Erie title belt to #1 Contender Kevin Bennett, after thanking all of his fans for their years of support.

There wasn’t a dry eye in the arena.

Of course, as Commissioner, this didn’t sit well with me, especially since Bennett seemed to ‘celebrate’ (with his best friend, the skilled technician Brandon Thurston, and their manager, the Agent to the Stars Brian DeVIlle) a little too much.  What especially got in the craw of many fans was Kevin telling everyone how he “earned” the championship.

I said ‘humph’ to that, and ordered Bennett to immediately defend his new title, against a shocked Thurston, telling Bennett that this would be his chance to prove his actual worthiness.

Unfortunately, though, DeVille got to both Bennett and Thurston first, convincing the reluctant Thurston to “lie down” and thus allow Bennett an easy ‘victory.’

This maneuver certainly upset every fan in attendance, especially the Lumberjack, who grabbed the microphone, yelling, and then tried to jump in the ring to go after the gloating Bennett (despite the medical concerns).

But cooler minds prevailed; and Lumberjack got a great idea, asking the fans if they wanted to see a “Fatal 4-Way” match for the Lake Erie Championship!

The Saga Club erupted, and I called out both James Santel and “The Chairman of the Board” Jamie Scott…..

What a barn burner this turned out to be, as all four men gave everything they had, trying to win the coveted Lake Erie Championship!

There were multiple near falls, unbelievably crazy maneuvers, and abounding bedlam!

Never have the fans of PWR been more enthralled.

But in the end, thanks in part to a horrific injury suffered by Jamie Scott at the hands of Thurston, Bennett, & DeVille, the gifted Kevin Bennett was able to eek out the victory.

After the chaos died down, that bloated flotsam of a manager called Scotty Roberts came out, wearing a mask and full body suit, and challenged Jamie Scott to a match next month.

That’s just like that low-life scum-sucking, maggot-dropping Roberts to issue a challenge to a man who was just injured less than 2 minutes ago.

It seems that Roberts, a man who would be out of his depth in a parking lot puddle, is still upset that Scott orchestrated the removal of his beloved Bone Crushers from PWR, and wants revenge.

Roberts, a man who wrote “Sagittarius” on his PWR contract where it states “sign here,” just doesn’t get it…..

Roberts, a man who if he spoke his mind would be truly speechless, can’t understand that the fans of PWR like to see talent in the ring!

If Roberts were any more stupid, he’d have to be watered twice a week.  (In fact, Roberts is the happiest man alive, since ignorance is bliss!)

I can’t wait to watch Roberts, a man whose sole purpose in life is to serve as a warning to others, step in the ring with Jamie Scott in June –

Roberts is slower than a herd of turtles stampeding through peanut butter…. I predict that Scott will make short work of Roberts, a man who doesn’t know how to fight but certainly leads the league in nostril hair growth!

Next up was a scintillating match, in which two young stallions, the very “Sexy” Shawn Blaze and versatile newcomer Frankie Feathers, met in an excellent, back-and-forth bout, which showcased the multiple skills of both men.

Eventually, partially due to his greater in-ring experience, the talented Blaze got the duke against the up-and-comer Feathers.

But then, that big bully, the egomaniac called “Big Time” Bill Collier, had to ruin the day for each of these earnest competitors…..

Bill ran into the ring after the match, and absolutely decimated both Feathers (knocking him out cold) and Blaze (separating the sexy one’s shoulder in the process).

And it was all to send a message, that Bill was coming “full force” in June, against whoever the PWR Heavyweight Champion is, to win back what he called “his rightful belt.”

Shameful.  But very effective.

Then, after the brutality, Bill stayed in the ring, and called out his nemesis, Jimi the Flying Hippie.

These two have a long & storied history together, and there’s certainly no love-loss between them.

Bill reminded Jimi that he has a guaranteed match against the PWR Champion in June.

Bill then challenged Jimi to put up his “Money in the Bank” briefcase against his June opportunity, saying that there should only be one #1 contender in PWR.

Jimi, ever the competitor, agreed…. And the two of them had what many observers feels was an “instant classic” match, in which neither man gave an inch, and both fighters gave back as good as they got!

The fans of PWR were on their feet, cheering throughout.  (Believe-you-me, I was one of them, during this magnificent struggle!)

But in the end, the super-human strength of Big Time managed to achieve the win, against the high-flying thrills of the Hippie.

And Bill left with the Money in the Bank briefcase.

After intermission, the match that many in attendance have been waiting years to see, finally took place:

The “Sensational” Seth Allen versus the “Fabulous” John McChesney.

And this bout certainly did not disappoint!

Seth used all of his guile, quickness, and uncanny technical skills – He was at the top of his game!

John relied on his gut, pulling unbelievable moves seemingly out of nowhere, and displaying an unparalleled athleticism.

Both competitors refused to give an inch.  Each wrestler pushed themselves to the limit.

This match could have gone ether way, but finally, with equally superb efforts from both men, John was able to get the win.

Then, before he could celebrate after perhaps the toughest fight of his career, the monster of mayhem, Shane Taylor, attacked John, absolutely ravaging the tired, worn McChesney!

Shane would not stop pummeling the Fabulous One; even as Dylan, that Jezebel of a manager, stood by, laughing at John’s pain & suffering….

Why, Shane, Why?  What was this act of tyranny all about?!?!?

Next, an intense battle for the PWR Tag-Team Championship was fought, as the newly crowned ACES HIGH (the aerodynamic “Spotlight” Marcus Knight and the effervescent Andre Kanan Alexander) defended their belts against the twin terrors of the midway, “Luscious” Rocky Reynolds and the “Black Sheep” Benett Cole.

Knight and AKA have been on a roll of late, as exemplified by their stunning victory against J-Rocc & Shane Taylor in April, to win the Tag Titles for the second time.  There’s simply no one more exciting in the ring than Marcus, or more resilient than Andre.  Together, they are extremely formidable.

But they’ve never before faced any team like this:  Rocky is a former PWR Heavyweight Champion and a former Lake Erie Champion.  Cole is a former Lake Erie Champion.  They train together, and work out together; their timing as a team is impeccable.

And that perfect rhythm proved too much for ACES HIGH, as Rocky and the Black Sheep won the Tag-Team Championship, after a wild match, with a vicious tone.  The hard-hitting was simply astonishing!

I know that this fight took a lot out of both teams.  But since ACES HIGH has exercised their rematch clause, they will have to do it all over again, in June;

I, for one, can’t wait!

Finally, the main event of the night pitted the “Omega” Aaron Draven versus his frequent tormentor, the VIP, Joe Rosa, for the PWR Heavyweight Championship.

And this one lived up to the hype, fans!

Wow.  I was awestruck by the magnitude of this match’s intensity.

Devastating maneuvers, tenacious & painful holds, powerful blows, and an extremely fast pace with almost no down time…..

This fight had it all!

Both men left everything they had in the ring, that’s for sure, in this fan-pleasing fight!

Omega showed the remarkable repertoire he possesses and the astounding skill he has perfected.

The VIP demonstrated the strength and energy which he is known for.

At one point, when a steel chair was introduced, it looked like Rosa would become the new PWR champ.

But in the end, the inscrutable wonder called Omega got the clean pinfall victory.

Wow, what a match!

And afterwards, the official #1 Contender, “Big Time” Bill Collier, came out to ‘warn’ Aaron, telling him that the Omega Era is about to end.

Bill guaranteed that he will win the PWR Heavyweight Title next month, on Saturday June 9^th, at the Saga Club in Erie!

Of course, Aaron had a few choice words and a differing opinion….

Everything is set, for the ultimate match up of 2012, when these two veteran pugilists meet, with the most prestigious title in professional wrestling on the line!

Fans, It doesn’t get any better than this!

*INJURY UPDATES*
Fans, many of you have emailed the PWR website, asking about the conditions of Lumberjack LeRoux, Jamie Scott, and Shawn Blaze.

Jamie suffered a fractured right orbital bone, requiring multiple stitches, and eye socket damage.  He also incurred a minor lower back injury, which is healing well, and a thigh contusion (which will take time).  Jamie said that he will be fine for June, and is greatly looking forward to the opportunity to finally meet Scotty Roberts in the squared circle!

Shawn had his left shoulder separated by Bill Collier after receiving the “Big Time Bomb,” and also suffered a slight upper back injury.  Shawn has his arm immobilized in a sling, but told me that he’ll be back next month, looking for some serious revenge!

PWR would like to extend our special thanks & gratitude to our incredible Ring Doctor, who effectively aided both Jamie and Shawn, before shipping them to the hospital for further treatment.

The Lumberjack’s situation is more volatile, and as he stated in the ring, will be managed over time.  Lumberjack has pledged to return to full-time active wrestling once the doctors clear him medically again.  If I know anything about the Lumberjack, a man I am proud to call my friend, it’s that he’s a man of his word!  Lumberjack will do whatever it takes to once more be able to compete in the wrestling ring, and entertain his legion of fans!

*SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT*

June 9^th is not that far away!

It all happens at the Saga Club, beginning at 7pm (with doors opening at 6:30).

Ø       The “Omega” Aaron Draven faces his toughest challenge yet, when he collides with ”Big Time” Bill Collier for the PWR Heavyweight Championship!  This one has been months in the making, and is predicted by this observer to be a true slobberknocker of a war!

Ø       ACES HIGH have exercised their rematch clause, and will get an opportunity to reclaim their Tag-Team Championships from Rocky Reynolds and the Black Sheep!  Marcus & AKA feel that they were ‘cheated’ out of their championship belts in May, and want a fair opportunity to regain them!

Ø       An extremely angry “Fabulous” John McChesney is itching to get his hands on the “Notorious” Shane Taylor, after what happened in May – In fact, John demanded that this match occurs in June!  (He threatened my very existence, if it doesn’t happen!)

Ø       Jamie Scott is simply salivating, knowing that he finally gets to fight that leech of a pussbag Scotty Roberts, in June!  I still can’t believe that Roberts actually had the guts to cal out Jamie Scott, for a one-on-one wrestling match… Wow, this could be awesome!

Ø       Despite the protests of Agent DeVille, new Lake Erie Champion Kevin Bennett will be forced to defend his title in June!  I will announce the #1 Contender shortly, after conferring with the Board of Directors and former champion, Lumberjack LaRoux, to ensure that we have another great match for the title!

Ø       Other superstars already signed for June include Jimi the Flying Hippie, the “Sensational” Seth Allen, the brilliant Brandon Thurston, “Stupendous” James Santel, and the “Renegade” Ivan Radsky…..

You simply HAVE to be in attendance, fans!  Make your plans now!

I promise that you will hate yourself if you miss this special PWR show, on the 9^th of June, at the Saga Club in Erie…..

*OBSERVATIONS*
Fans, few notes of interest:

Ø       It appears to me that there may be some dissention in Camp DeVille, between the new Lake Erie Champion Kevin Bennett, and his best friend Brandon Thurston.  Thurston seems to think that their manager, the Agent to the Stars Brian DeVille, is favoring Bennett over him.  (Was DeVille trying to separate the two grapplers toward the end of the Fatal 4-Way, or was he trying to help Bennett win?)  For his part, I’ve heard that Bennett thinks that Thurston is just jealous.  This is something that will definitely need to be worked out, if they are to continue as an effective stable.  DeVille certainly will have his hands full with damage control!

Ø       After ACES HIGH lost their Tag-Team Championships to Rocky & Black Sheep, Marcus Knight and Andre were having trouble focusing; being angry at what they thought was poor officiating.  Andre said “It wasn’t fair, we should have won,” while all Marcus said was “rats.”  These two stalwarts absolutely have the ability to get their championships back in June, but they will have to concentrate on their opponents, and not let either Rocky or the Black Sheep get inside their heads, distracting them from what’s important:  The PWR Tag-Team Belts!

Ø       Fans, I have to say, some of the merchandise which the wrestlers are selling at PWR shows is certainly innovative these days!  There are amazing, one-of-a-kind items, you won’t find anywhere else.  There are fantastic bargains on high quality products.  There’s something for everyone.  If you haven’t spent time browsing at the merchandise tables at a Pro Wrestling Rampage event, ensure that you take a few minutes to do so, next time.  Much of these titillating goods are only available for a limited time – when they’re gone, they’re gone!  (Relive your joyous PWR memories, all month long, with the fun stuff available for sale!)

Ø       Keep you eyes on the James Santel, fans.  This youngster is improving each and every month.  If we had a “Rookie of the Year” category, James would definitely merit a nomination.  I predict great things ahead for this rising star of PWR!  Also, someone who doesn’t necessarily get the respect he deserves for his amazing wrestling prowess is the “Sensational” Seth Allen.  Perhaps it’s because of his seemingly nonchalant attitude towards the fans, but there’s truly no one more technically sound than this perfectionist.  Make sure you watch his next match closely, to see what I mean.

Ø       I just love the entrance of Frankie Feathers; don’t you, fans?  He may be rivaling Marcus Knight’s, for the most joyous, energetic and joyous entrance in PWR!  There’s just something about Frankie that’s infectious – he always seems happy, no matter what.  You gotta admire that attitude!  Speaking of feeling good, what a “comeback story” the “Renegade” Ivan Radsky makes…. He’s back to 100% and is charging full steam ahead, ready to meet all comers in the squared circle of PWR.  I have to hand it to Radsky, for his tenacity and work ethic; way to go, Ivan!

*RECOGNITION*
While I don’t always agree with the attitude or methods of “Luscious” Rocky Reynolds (and most of the time, I don’t!), I have to admit that the man has vast talent and dominating abilities, while inside the ring.

As such, I want to take this time to recognize Rocky for his latest achievement:  He’s the first man in PWR history to have held all 3 major championships!

Rocky has been the PWR Heavyweight Champion, the PWR Lake Erie Champion, and now, is a PWR Tag-Team Champion –

That’s quite an accomplishment!

And his protégé, the “Black Sheep” Benett Cole is well on his way to duplicating this feat, having already won the Lake Erie & Tag-Team Championships. Congrats to both men.

• Cameraman Dickie “The Gobbler” Grabbler, known as the fastest rising star of PWR!  Dickie not only records our marvelous matches (which I often use to review issues afterwards), but he additionally functions as PWR’s Finance Director and as our Technical Manager.  The show wouldn’t happen at all, without the remarkable skills of The Gobbler!
• Board Member Raul Pervis, who represents the Pro Wrestling Rampage Board of Directors at each and every show.  He helps ensure that PWR continues to bring the same high-quality entertainment, month after month, without fail.  And Raul also assists at each event wherever he is needed – talk about a “team player”…..Raul exemplifies that quality!

ACES HIGH (the aerodynamic “Spotlight” Marcus Knight and the effervescent Andre Kanan Alexander) are once again the new PWR Tag-Team Champions, having beaten The Cleveland Mafia (The “Notorious” Shane Taylor and the “Big Daddy of Destruction” J-Rocc) last month in Girard, ending the reign of terror by the Mafia.

Marcus and AKA have proved to the world that they are ready for all comers, and are able & willing to lay it all on the line, for the opportunity to proudly wear the gold of Pro Wrestling Rampage.

However, on Saturday, the 12^th of March, at the Saga Club in Erie, PA, they will face opponents unlike any other they’ve met in the past, when they take on “Luscious” Rocky Reynolds and the “Black Sheep” Benett Cole.

Reynolds is a former PWR Heavyweight Champion, while Cole is a former PWR Lake Erie Champion; together, they may just be an unstoppable force of nature!

Will the combined might and willpower of ACES HIGH be enough to fend off the mighty challenge of Rocky and Black Sheep?

Rising PWR Superstar Kevin Bennett (an integral part of the industrious tag-team “Those Guys”) has earned the right to face Lumberjack LeRoux for the Lake Erie Championship, on Saturday, May 12^th.

Bennett gained this honor by winning the 6-Man scramble match in Girard last month.

I’ll tell you what, fans; I may not like the attitude of this young man Bennett (or that of his manager, the Agent to the Stars DeVille), but he certainly has all the ability in the world!

He has a knack for finding the weakness of an opponent, and then striking without mercy, inflicting pain, and finally destroying their defenses.

Lumberjack had better watch out!

And my sources inform me that Lumberjack still isn’t 100% percent….

This could be a game-time decision, fans, with our illustrious Fight Doctor (Dr. Brad Fox) having the final say on the matter.

One thing that I can certainly say is that Lumberjack LaRoux, the “Man Among Men” in PWR, has absolutely acquitted himself with honor, and defended the Lake Erie Championship with aplomb!

If he’s able to wrestle, there will be no holding the Lumberjack back!

What will occur on May 12^th, in Erie, in the Saga Club, when Lumberjack is slated to meet Kevin Bennett for the Lake Erie Championship?

You need to be there, fans!

Now, finally, we’ll find out just how tough the “Notorious” Shane Taylor really is, when this monster of the midway, the most dangerous man in professional wrestling, Shane Taylor, takes on the Russian Renegade Ivan Radsky!

Shane is itching for a fight, still seething-mad over losing the Tag-Team Championship last month;

He’s looking for an opportunity to dish out some punishment, and he doesn’t care who’s in front of him –

He just wants to decimate his opponent, and send a message to the rest of the PWR locker room; that Shane Taylor is going to obliterate the competition and run rough-shod in the Rampage!

But Ivan Radsky has stepped up, and signed the open contract to face this behemoth, on Saturday, the 12^th of May, at the Saga Club.

Radsky is what I call “crazy strong” – that is, he can do things which normal men won’t even try…..and he has promised to defeat the unstoppable force called Shane Taylor.

Fans, it may seem ludicrous, but f anyone can put Taylor down for the count, it would be that wild renegade, Ivan Radsky!

I expect a slobber-knocker, when these two immovable objects finally meet in the squared circle.

What a fight this will be!!!

Fans, I will tell you that the “Omega” Aaron Draven, fresh off of his scintillating victory over the legendary Jerry Lynn, WILL BE defending his PWR Heavyweight Championship, on Saturday, May 12^th, at the Saga Club in Erie.

Wrestlers from all over the world have been lining up, issuing challenges to Omega, for this upcoming show.

It seems that they all believe that since Aaron has a hard-fought (and rare) win over Jerry Lynn on his resume, if they somehow manage to defeat him, it will be a tremendous feather in their own cap…. And that’s actually very true!

I’ve been going over all of the astonishing possibilities, and I will make my final decision at the show….

Believe-you-me, you will want to be there, in person, in the front row, as Omega defends the PWR Championship!

This match will simply be astounding, no matter which of the very worthy competitors is selected!

Will the era of Omega continue in PWR?  Or will a new king be crowned, on the 12^th of May?

He’s longed for the PWR Heavyweight Championship all of his life, and wants nothing more than to get a fair opportunity to win the most prestigious title in all of professional wrestling!

Keep your eyes on this innovative young stallion, fans.

“Big Time” Bill Collier has promised something special for the May 12^th show, fans.

I have no idea what he is talking about, but he was adamant in his discussion with me.

He said that PWR will “never be the same” after his upcoming actions.

Whatever can he mean?

I don’t know about you, but I’m genuinely frightened, just thinking about it!

For sure, you can’t miss this moment, whatever it is, on the 12^th of May, in Erie….

The regal glory that is Pro Wrestling Rampage has never shown so brightly.

Saturday, April 14^th, was truly the defining moment of PWR.

Just about every wrestling enthusiast in the tri-state area was witness to breathtaking history and horrific carnage, as the Rampage entered a new era of profundity.

Nothing in professional wrestling will ever be the same!

All I can really say is:  THANK YOU!

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, and from the depths of my soul; PWR sincerely appreciates the wondrous fans of professional wrestling, who attend each show.

Without your support, we couldn’t have accomplished this majestic miracle.

*RECAP*
It was a night of struggles and splendor; of passion and poetry; of chaos and competition; of warfare and wonderment.

It was a night that no one will ever forget!

First off, in the main PWR Show on April 14^th, an amazing 6-man “Scramble Match” was held to determine the #1 Contender for the Lake Erie Championship, between “Sensational” Seth Allen, “Stupendous” James Santel, Kevin Bennett (with his agent to the stars DeVille at ringside), Brandon Thurston, Ivan Radsky, and Jimi the High-Flying Hippie.

It was an acrobatic masterpiece, as all six wrestlers pulled out all the stops and hit move-after-move, each one more aerodynamically astounding than the last.

When it was all said and done, Kevin Bennett managed to eke out a victory, at the last second.

Then, in a stunning development, ACES HIGH (“Spotlight” Marcus Knight and Andre Kanan Alexander) managed to pull off the upset and gain a pinfall over the CLEVELAND MAFIA (the “Big Daddy of Destruction” J-Rocc, the “Notorious” Shane Taylor, and the “Vixxxen” Dylan), to capture the PWR Tag-Team Championship!

Wow!  Despite the CLEVELAND MAFIA dominating most of the encounter, ACES HIGH ran away with the title belts, to the cheers of the crowd.

What will happen next, for J-Rocc and Shane?  And for Marcus and AKA?

After that, it was announced that current Lake Erie Champion Lumberjack LeRoux was not medically cleared to compete, and could not defend his title.

However, the devious “Black Sheep” Benett Cole demanded his title match, which he had a contract for; or, Cole would accept Lumberjack just handing him the gold outright, surrendering his championship!

Instead, Lumberjack and I asked Cole if someone could defend the championship in Lumberjack’s place.  Cole agreed, but only if he could pick the opponent.

With no choice at all, Lumberjack accepted.

Cole thought he had pulled a fast one, selecting female competitor Brittany Force, to represent Lumberjack.  But that crafty move backfired…..

Cole underestimated Brittany’s heart.  Despite the pounding she took from the sadistic Black Sheep, Brittany hung in there, and eventually, when she saw an opening (thanks, in part, to Lumberjack distracting the Black Sheep), she pounced and got a quick 1-2-3 for the shocking win!

Lumberjack managed to retain his championship without even stepping into the ring!

Next, former DX mainstay and 10-time WWE Tag-Team Champion, the “Bad Ass” Billy Gunn, fought “Luscious” Rocky Reynolds, one-on-one.

It was a back and forth struggle, with Rocky showing no respect for the WWE legend.

The two went toe to toe, strength against strength.

But eventually, the power and experience of Billy Gunn proved too much, and he got the win over the game Reynolds.

This was truly a match for the ages, fans!

Subsequently, “Omega” Aaron Draven successfully defended the PWR Heavyweight Championship against wrestling prodigy and former WWE, ECW, TNA, and Ring of Honor Champion, the great Jerry Lynn.

It was an incredible match, showcasing both men’s skills and unbelievable athleticism.

This fight was pure joy to watch, as both wrestlers gave it their all, and tried every trick in the book to get the duke.

Move after move, aerodynamic maneuver after aerodynamic maneuver – man o man, what a bout!

Eventually, Omega managed to turn the tables and gain the victory over perhaps the best current pound-for-pound grappler in the business, as everyone in attendance rose in unison, applauding their approval!

Who could ask for anything more, fans!

Lastly, in the main event of the evening, bitter rivals “Big Time” Bill Collier and “Fabulous” John ‘Big League’ McChesney went at it, in a demonic Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match, to finally settle their feud once and for all!

This wild affair was intense and brutal, fought all over the arena.

Both men went through tables, had their bodies wracked with the pain of steel chairs pounding against their flesh, and were twisted inside the unyielding metal ladders of destruction.

Neither competitor will ever be the same.

And in the end, the Fabulous One was able to secure the victory, and end the warfare.

What a night!

*BILLY GUNN AND JERRY LYNN*

Fans,

Weren’t both Billy Gunn and Jerry Lynn really super nice people, who were willing to sign autographs, talk with everyone, and take as many photos as requested?  And boy, both can still get it done in the ring; neither has lost a step, in this observer’s humble (but accurate) opinion!

Everyone loved their very honest (and often humorous) responses to the queries which fans posed during the Q & A session of the Pre-Show.

It was easy to tell that both Billy and Jerry were having a good time, and were really enjoying their interaction with all of their fans.

It was great to have both of these legends, and former WWE Superstars, at our event!

And we know that each one of you loved it as well!

*PRE-SHOW*
The first-ever PWR “Pre-Show” was an unbridled success!

Not only did the fans get to greet ‘n meet with Jerry Lynn & Billy Gunn, and get to hear their terrific stories & recollections from throughout their years on the road, and get to ask them any question which they wanted…..

We all also got to see 3 high-quality matches as well!

First up was newcomer Frankie Feathers, who challenged the powerhouse known as Shane Taylor.

Feathers, a crowd favorite for his daring dance moves, had a hard time getting untracked against the behemoth Taylor, who got the pin on Feathers after a tremendous splash.

Then, we saw Benett Cole go head-to-head with his rival Andre Kanan Alexander, in an absolutely fantastic match!

It could have gone either way, but Cole eventually got the hard-earned win.

Finally, we watched the VIP Joe Rosa versus Jimi the Hippie (substituting for the “Omega” Aaron Draven, who swerved Rosa by making the switch just prior to bell time).

Jimi’s high-flying moves got the best of the VIP strongman, in a brilliant, strategically developed, match.

And after all that, PWR gave away hundreds of dollars in wrestling merchandise (including videos, action figures, memorabilia, etc.) to the multitude of fans in attendance, absolutely free, just because we appreciate you!

Saturday, May 12^th is just around the corner!

It’s time now to reserve your front-row tickets for what is sure to be a sell-out show at the Saga Club in Erie, as PWR follows up on the drama which unfolded in April.

Already announced is a match that I’ve been waiting 5 years to see:  “Fabulous” John McChesney v “Sensational” Seth Allen!  These two have styles which are tailor made for each other – I can’t wait to see them both finally lock up!

And I’ve named the new #1 Challengers for the PWR Tag-Team Championship:  “Luscious” Rocky Reynolds & “Black Sheep” Benet Cole.  These two will have the opportunity on Saturday, May 12^th, to face ACES HIGH (the aerodynamic Marcus Knight and the stealthy AKA) for the championships!

Further, I have to wonder if the “man among men” Lumberjack LeRoux will be physically ready (and medically cleared) to face his #1 Competitor for the Lake Erie Championship, Kevin Bennett (who earned this spot by winning the amazing 6-man Scramble Match in April).  What will happen on Saturday, May 12^th?

And who exactly will current champion “Omega” Aaron Draven face, when he defends the PWR Heavyweight Championship in May?

When will Jimi the Hippie finally cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase?

Fans, you need to be in attendance, at the Saga Club, to see for yourselves!
