It was reminiscent of Pearl Harbor….
A night which will live in infamy for Pro Wrestling Rampage!
After Sheik Muhammad Mustafa & Luis Diamante had refused to defend their Tag-Team Championships and informed the PWR Board of Directors that they would not be appearing on February 19th at the Cauley Auditorium, and after all of the matches were over, the Sheik and Diamante made a dramatic statement, attacking both of the “Erie Elite,” Fabulous John McChesney and Omega Aaron Draven from behind, using a steel chair and 12’ foot ladder!
Fabulous and Omega had just finished competing in the main event for the PWR Heavyweight Championship, and were talking with fans, preparing to sign autographs, when the Sheik and Diamante (known collectively, along with Ivan Radsky, as the Foreign Legion) ran in from the side street entrance and brutally laid out both John and Aaron, leaving them unconscious in the ring!
Fans were stunned & so was I. I’ve never witnessed such a heinous attack. Let me tell you, I can not wait until Saturday, March 20th, when these four men will meet for the PWR Tag-Team Championships – And it will be in a Tables, Ladders, & Chairs Match!
The Sheik and Diamante must defend their tag-team championships or they will be stripped of the gold!
Fans, you absolutely have to be in attendance for this once-in-a-lifetime match. Reserve your front row tickets now – You will be glad that you did! I predict that this TLC fight will be talked about for generations!

Speaking of February’s PWR Main Event….. what a match it was!
PWR fans witnessed a historic Fatal 4-Way for the PWR Heavyweight Championship, between the incredible ‘Steel City Prodigy’ Ryan Mitchell, the high-flying Lake Erie Champion Omega Aaron Draven, the truly ‘Fabulous’ John McChesney, and reigning champion ‘Big Time’ Bill Collier.
It was amazing to watch this 30 minute battle, as all four combatants (each champions in their right) went toe-to-toe, giving it their all.
There’s no question that this was the match of the year so far! And in the end, after an awesome struggle, Big Time retained his championship, to the delight of many of the hundreds of fans at ringside.
This was riveting entertainment, featuring pure athleticism at its greatest. I was never so proud to be a part of PWR as I was at the end of this truly spectacular, hard-hitting match. Ryan, Aaron, John, and Bill may never be the same.

The Women’s Division of PWR is in total turmoil!
There are so many great female wrestlers in PWR (with more joining all the time) that anything can happen, and usually will!
Every match is extremely exciting….. I have no idea where the ladies of PWR will take us next, but I know that I want to be there and watch!
At February’s Pro Wrestling Rampage Show, Angel Dust successfully defended her PWR Ladies Championship against newcomer Tuff Tina, in a brutal conflict, in which Tina seemed to dominate. However, Tina lost her temper eventually, and struck the referee, causing a disqualification. I’m sure that this war between Angel Dust and Tuff Tina is not over; however, it looked to me like Angel Dust was fortunate that Tina erred in judgment – I thought that Tina was well on her way to winning the match! Only time will tell if this was the dawning of a new PWR Ladies Champion!
February also showcased the debut of the talented Claudia Del Solis, who battled former ladies champion Sassy Stephie. It was a great match, in which Claudia definitely had a couple of things working in her favor. But in the end, it was Sassy Stephie who used her ring experience and mat wrestling skills to get the duke!
However, after the fight was over, Brittany Force brutally attacked her nemesis, Sassy Stephie, and the two went at it, clawing and kicking.
A short time later, Sassy Staphie called out Brittany Force, challenging her to a match; Brittany charged, and the two tore down the roof, giving the fans want they wanted. While Brittany managed to get a victory in this close-fought match, the feud between these ladies is certainly not over. It seems that they each live to devise ways to hurt the other one.
I wonder what’s coming next?

Colin Delaney gave it his all in February, against the larger, stronger “Luscious” Rocky Reynolds. The former WWE and ECW star showed the fans of PWR why he is ‘The Extreme Underdog’ and demonstrated the astounding athleticism and remarkable heart that he is known for. The fans cheered loudly, fully behind Delaney, but in the end, the power of Rocky was just too much.
It was a great match, one which would go on any Federation’s “Top 10” list for sure. The ovation which the fans gave afterwards is a testament to the quality.
But then, after the fight, Rocky had to ruin the moment, and attempt to end the career of Delaney, by attacking him, and trying to break Delaney’s leg. Ready to smash Delaney’s leg with a steel chair, Riot Squad security guard sprung into the ring & speared Rocky taking matters into his own hands. While I agree that Rocky may have had it coming, I do not condone the actions of this young man & he has been reprimanded.
When asked about his actions, the Riot Squad member said “I felt I did what he had to do. Month after month, I’ve seen Rocky injure guys for his own demented pleasures. He broke my best friend’s wrist, injured Lumberjack’s leg & I couldn’t just sit by & let Rocky take out another victim.”
Rocky was at first shocked & none to pleased with the actions of the Riot Squad member. Rocky just kept smiling & repeating that there will be consequences & repercussions.
I fear for the safety of this valiant young man.

I was very impressed with the performance of the angry Russian, Ivan Radsky in February. He seemed more focused, and more ferocious, than usual. I know that he was upset that his fellow countryman and friend received a silver medal (and not the gold) in men’s figure skating at the Winter Olympics; perhaps it was a display of unity.
Anyway, Radsky beat a game Seth Allen, who gave the PWR fans his all. But the Russian strongman was just too technically sound and extremely methodical.
I’ve never liked the attitude of Ivan Radsky, but this month, he definitely showed me his wrestling talent.
I wonder where this new found fierceness will take him?

This J-Rocc / Shane Taylor feud is getting out of hand. It’s scary, and it’s out of control.
These two behemoths hate each other with a passion so strong, that they don’t care who or what gets in their way. They just want to hurt each other, bad!
At February’s PWR show, after the Notorious Shane Taylor beat a valiant (but overmatched) Nikki Valentino, J-Rocc called out his former tag-team partner, and former best friend, by taunting Shane’s mother!
I have never seen Shane so angry. J-Rocc even sang a song to the crowd, about Shane’s mother, comparing her to “Awesome Kong.”
When the enraged Shane charged out, the two superstars of PWR went at it wildly. They just punched and kicked, brawling all over the arena. It was an incredible melee until security could break it up.
We all know that it’s not over. I’m afraid to sanction another match, because I don’t know what will happen. Still, this is the one fight the fans have told me that they most want to see.
I’m still debating the merits of this one. I know that it would be a great match, but the results and repercussions could be so terrifying.
I just don’t know. Fans, what do you think?

Another match which really impressed me in February was the fight between “The Spotlight” Marcus Knight and “The Original Wonder” Dorian Monroe. This was a classic, aerodynamic battle, which went back-and-forth. Both men showcased their tremendous abilities; in the end, Dorian got the victory via a quick roll up.
Fans, do you think Marcus Knight deserves another opportunity at Dorian Monroe? Let me know what you think.

We had another very successful “fan appreciations show” at All Seasons Marketplace behind the Millcreek Mall on Saturday, the 20th of February. Wrestling for the PWR universe were: Former WWE superstar Colin Delaney, the Notorious Shane Taylor, the Fabulous John McChesney, the Lake Erie Champion Omega Aaron Draven, the enigmatic youngster Terry Ring, talented newcomer Stryder, PWR heavyweight champion “Big Time” Bill Collier, the immense Lord Humongous, the fanatical Caesar (making his PWR return, to the cheers of the faithful!), the beautiful yet sadistic Brittany Force, Scott Prodigy, the exciting Jimi “the high-flying hippie,” the skillful Ivan Radsky, and the crazy & wild, dancing Crash Test Dummy (he can dance if he wants too).
It was quite a show – those in attendance certainly loved it!

“Chairman of the Board” Jamie Scott ring announcing? You saw right on February 19. Since Jamie was still recovering from injuries suffered at the hands of 50% PWR owner Sheik Mustafa, Jamie decided to take up the announcing mantle, and spend some time talking with our fans. Always entertaining, Jamie proved that he has what it takes to get it done!
However, those who know Jamie weren’t surprised when, after the Sheik’s blatant sneak attack on Omega & Fabulous, Jamie took off his jacket and tried to get into the ring, defending Aaron and John, despite his injuries. Fortunately, Jamie was held back by ringside security, but the fans could see the passion and fire which still glow brightly in the eyes of “the chairman.”
All I can say is: “Sheik, someday, there will be a comeuppance. And you won’t enjoy it much.”
I just hope that I get to watch!

PWR just continues to grow and grow. Wrestlers from all over the world are attempting to become a part of Pro Wrestling Rampage!
It seems that if you want to compete against the best wrestlers around, you have to go through PWR!
Make sure that you continue to spread the word. Tell all of your friends and neighbors about
Pro Wrestling Rampage.
In March, bring someone who’s never been to a show; I bet they’ll love it!

PWR would like to thank former State Senator Buzz Andrewzeski, who graciously presented flowers to a PWR fan that had flown over 4000 miles from Europe, in order to get to the February Pro Wrestling Rampage show! Now that’s dedication.
Thanks Buzz, for being a true fan of PWR!

Finally, I want to update everyone on the condition of Lumberjack Leroux.
As you know, he was severely injured at the hands of Rocky Reynolds last month, tearing his ACL and receiving multiple leg fractures, when Rocky jumped off of the top rope onto a steel chair which he had placed Lumberjacks leg through, snapping it shut. The injuries were so severe that Lumberjack had to be air-flighted immediately after the match for emergency surgery.
At first, the prognosis for Lumberjack was positive; but he’s had several setbacks since, and his knee had to be drained of fluid build-up several times. He’s in constant pain, struggling to recover from this horrific injury.
Please continue to email Lumberjack at the PWR website – he’s told me that the encouragement of the fans is the only thing helping him get through this time of struggle.
Lumberjack, we’ll all keep you in our prayers. Get well soon, buddy – we miss you at the shows! Godspeed, my friend.
That’s it.
See you on March 20th!
Until next time,
“Let’s Keep It In The Ring!”
PWR Commissioner Michael Roberts
