The PWR event on Saturday, October 24th is shaping up to be a real, down home, barn burner!

Already signed is a match for the PWR Heavyweight Championship, which features the first defense of his newly won title by The Notorious Shane Taylor.  And what a way to begin for the new champion – he will have to face, one-on-one, former champion Big Time Bill Collier!

I recently spoke to Bill about this opportunity.  He told me that he’s guaranteeing the fans that he’ll win back the PWR championship.  He said, and I quote:  “With the fans support behind me, there’s no way that I can lose to Shane again.”

Those who attended last month’s show got a preview of the tenacity which Bill has, when he teamed with J-Rocc to face Shane and Sexy Shawn Blaze.  The moments that Big Time and Notorious were in the ring together were electric!  The two put on an amazing display of strength and fortitude, with each one trying to top the other. This month’s championship match between Bill and Shane will definitely be a true “slobberknocker!”

Speaking of J-Rocc, I know that he’s angry at Shawn Blaze, for all the (in J-Rocc’s words) “cheatin’ and scratchin’” he did during last month’s tag.  J-Rocc told me that he’s not sorry at all that Blaze broke 3 ribs during their match, and can’t wait for him to return to action so he “can finish what he started!” These two adversaries really don’t like each other. I wonder where this feud will end up?

Another great part of the October 24th show to watch for will be the first defense of the Tag-Team Titles by Real Smooth.  As you no doubt saw, they regained he PWR championship belts (for the third time in their incredible history) through nefarious means last month, when they aligned with The Sheik (and betrayed their manager and friend, Chairman of the Board Jamie Scott).

Their tainted victory over former champions Angel Dust and Sassy Steph still stands, though.  And with Angel Dust put out of action for a bit, due to unnecessary roughness by Real Smooth at the end of their match. Real Smooth will be defending there newly won championships in October.

In addition to Angel Dust (concussion) and Shawn Blaze (ribs) being out of commission, Jamie Scott is still recovering from his separated shoulder which he received while placed in the extended Camel Clutch, during the War Games cage match. Scott, who is still in extreme pain, informed me that this is not over.  “There will be a reckoning,” he said.  “And all hell’s gonna break lose before it’s over!”

Wow!  Jamie is a man of his word, so I can’t wait to see what he will do next!

Another injured warrior is Robby Starr, who probably attempted to come back too soon, two months ago.  Well, he’s fine now.  And he’s itching to get back in action!  He told me that he can’t wait to perform in front of his Erie fans again.

Brittany Force has been on a roll lately, seemingly dominating the Women’s Division of PWR.  Of course, it doesn’t hurt that she always brings out her “entourage” to ringside during her matches.  Somehow, they always seem to interfere.  That practice has to end.

We’ll see what happens this month, when Brittany defends her title against #1 Contender (and former Tag-Team Champion) Sassy Stephie.

I am so looking forward to this match!

I ran into Ivan Radsky at a recent wrestling event in New Hampshire.  He was ‘gloating’ about how the Foreign Legion won at War Games, beating down Lumberjack, Omega, and Jamie Scott.  He was telling everyone about how they “demolished the competition.”  What he neglected to mention, however, was the fact that (with Real Smooth’s betrayal to the American Coalition) the match became, in fact, a 7 on 3 handicap fight.

All Radsky kept saying to everyone who’d listen was how great he was, and how he beat down the Amercians. On October 24th, let’s see if The Winter Soldier, Ivan Radsky, can back up his bravado once more!

As you’re undoubtedly aware, because “War Games” has definitely been the talk of Professional Wrestling for the past few weeks, I am extremely upset about how The Sheik and (especially) Luis Diamante acted after the match.  I am not taking this matter lying down.  There will be severe repercussions, announced at October’s show.

I went to State Board on this one, fans.  Believe you me, I’m not backing down, no matter the cost!

At the end of last month’s event, fans saw a different, new side of The Bone Crushers, after they realized that they had been tricked and used by The Sheik.  Unfortunately, we didn’t see a lot of it, since Real Smooth (like cowards) attacked The Bone Crushers from behind, laying them out.

I wonder which Bone Crushers will show up this month?

Here’s a “sleeper” pick for rookie tag-team of the year…..

Keep your eyes on the hot, young, energetic, new team of Dorian Monroe & Brandon Thurston.

They won a hard-fought, exciting match last month. I may not like their attitudes, and their rule breaking, but there’s no doubt that they have the necessary talent and are willing to work hard. We’ll see what happens as they continue to develop, and work more together.

Well, as we saw last month, The Fabulous John McChesney managed to survive the “bounty” which Luscious Rocky Reynolds had placed on his head.  But all that did was further ignite the fuse which has been burning for almost a year!

Fabulous and Rocky just positively hate each other; no question about it. They will do anything to hurt each other. Absolutely anything!

I don’t know what more can happen –
I don’t even want to think about how far these two combatants will take things.
I mean, what level will they go to?
I am seriously worried that this feud will get out of hand, and permanent damage will be done!

We’ll find out in October what happens next in this bitter saga.

I would like to acknowledge the awesome work of PWR’s newest staff member, Justin Lee, who has taken over the the PWR web site.  Seriously impressive work, young man – just amazing!  Thousands of “hits” we get each week attest to that.

Thank you for your efforts and dedication. They are appreciated by the fans and I.
Everyone stay safe.
And remember,
“You gotta put pebbles in the salad, daddy-o!”

Thanks.
