I have spent the last several weeks in heated discussion with Rocky Reynolds & his lawyer regarding John McChesney violating his restraining order in Erie County. As of this moment, an amicable agreement has been signed where John McChesney will not be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. But this agreement does not come without drastic repercussions. In order to save McChesney’s freedom, I granted Rocky the power to choose John McChesney’s oppenent on September 26. Rocky quickly made a few phone calls & found one man who has scouted McChesney for a very long time, but has never stepped foot in Erie before. This man is “The Big Rig” Brodie Lee.
I hated to give Rocky Reynolds this option, but felt that my judgement is looking out for McChesney’s best interest. I wish McChesney all the luck as he faces the monster Brodie Lee on September 26.

It seems that at every PWR event there’s always an “oh my god” moment where you see something that you never thought would ever occur.
Last month, during August’s show, that moment involved The Necro Butcher, when (during a wild melee) Necro grabbed a large artificial plant and began beating an unfortunate, helpless security guard with it, for no reason whatsoever.
Prior to then, I had never seen someone knocked senseless from repeated blows with a tree. You never what will happen at PWR!

The members of The American Coalition are trying to keep things together. They’ve vehemently denied the reports of a locker room fight, after the August show. Still, it’s obvious that there’s dissention among the team; but when asked, each wrestler is saying the ‘politically correct’ things. Lumberjack told me “What’s in the past is in the past.” Jamie Scott said “We’re united against a common foe. That’s all that matters now.” Omega said to me “As long as Real Smooth keeps their end of the bargain, we’ll be fine.”
But to me, the seeds of mistrust have already been sown……It remains to be seen if the coalition can function as a team, at War Games 2009, on September 26th.

Fans, the rumors about Brittany Force refusing to defend the PWR Women’s Championship are not accurate. While it’s true that in a recent interview, Brittany gave an interview in which she claimed to be “so far above the rest of the competition” and “so much more talented than the other female wrestlers in PWR” that she shouldn’t have to ever again fight, I can assure you that Brittany will be defending her title on an ongoing basis. In fact, I’ve set a match for her at the September show which will be an extremely difficult challenge for the current Champion!

It’s always amazing what you find out about PWR…
Our fans are extremely dedicated and loyal; but this situation takes the cake.
I was recently invited to join a PWR Fantasy Wrestling League! That’s right! Now, I’ve heard of Fantasy Football, but this a first for me. It seems there’s a group of fans who “drafted” their favorite PWR superstars – They get 1 point if their wrestlers compete and 2 points if their wrestlers wins by count out or DQ and 3 points if the wrestlers wins by pin fall or submission. Simply remarkable!

I just love the new PWR web-site, especially the “results” section. It’s a great time reminiscing about all the super action which we’ve had the opportunity to view over the past year. Make sure that you are telling and emailing your friends about the PWR site. Let’s get everyone on board this month!

I am very curious to see what the Notorious Shane Taylor will be like as PWR Champion. He’s a man of few words. I don’t think I’ve ever heard him say anything positive. Right now, the spotlight of the entire wrestling world is shining directly on him, as he holds one of the most prestigious belts in the business. How will he react? What will his top priorities be? I can’t wait to find out.
And why did Sexy Shawn Blaze assist Shane last month; what exactly is Blaze’s angle?
Speaking of champions, I wonder how former champ Big Time Bill Collier will react to losing his title. He’s been through so much in recent months: First, his woman (Brittany Force) left him for J-Rocc, who was Shane Taylor’s partner at the time. Then, his best friend (Robby Starr) was horribly beaten by Shane, and put ‘on the shelf’ for three months. Then, Bill barely survived a vicious steel cage match with J-Rocc. He was in a savage altercation with The Necro Butcher. And now, Shane Taylor has taken his championship from him….. The title belt was all that Bill had left, and he was so proud of it. Has he finally reached the breaking point?

The Sheik recently purchased a training property here in Erie. He’s flown in his Foreign Legion (The Bone Crushers, Ivan Radsky, & Luis Diamante) twice already for workouts and (in The Sheik’s words) “bonding sessions.” It seems that The Sheik is pulling out all of the stops for War Games; he wants to win at all costs, no matter the expenses or consequences.
By the way, The Sheik definitely has to begin defending the Lake Erie Championship more often. It seems that every month, after I make the matches, the opponent (for some reason) always “backs down” at the last minute. And then, later in the night, I see them leaving with a briefcase.

The number one question I get asked is: “What’s up with J-Rocc?” Fans, I have no idea. We’ll just have to wait and see!

Finally, please send me your questions about PWR. I will attempt to answer them all in a future column. I am honored to have this weekly forum, so I want to thank each and every PWR fan for their support. And the number of “hits” since the PWR website was revamped has been amazing!
Until next week,
