New Commissioner’s Corner! 12-17-2011

Fans,

What an exhilarating evening we just had, as PWR closed out another year of incredible action and amazing drama!

I’ll recap the events below, for those who missed the excitement.

And I have several special announcements and breaking news to deliver, as well.

2011 was indeed the year that Pro Wrestling Rampage took off!

And 2012 will take us to even loftier heights, I guarantee it!

Stay with us, friends!

Wow!
What a stupendous show we had, on December 3rd, at the near sold-out Saga Club!

We witnessed startling exploits and experienced intense elation, as PWR finished the year strong!

The night started with a trip down memory lane, as J-Rocc (the Big Daddy of Destruction) returned to Pro Wrestling Rampage and addressed his legions of fans, while teamed up with the monstrous Shane Taylor (the Notorious One) and the Vixen known as Dylan.

However, the talk soon degenerated into violence, as J-Rocc and Shane absolutely destroyed the eager but overmatched AKA, who is one half of the PWR Tag-Team Champions, along with the Spotlight, Marcus Knight (who was injured and couldn’t compete in December).

On Saturday, January 14th, in Erie, PA at the Saga Club, what will happen when AKA and Marcus have to defend their championship against J-Rocc & Shane?

Fans, you need to be there, to find out!

Next, the emerging superstar James Santel had a tremendous match with the veteran ring technician, Brandon Thurston.  This fight was simply astounding, and a pure joy to watch.  Santel came out on top, but Thurston proved his mettle as well.  I would love to see either competitor in action again!

Then, the former ‘Chairman of the Board,’ Jamie Scott, convinced Santel to team with him against Those Guys (Kevin Bennett and Brett Mednick), along with their Agent to the Stars, DeVille.  Now, Scott had surgery last month, due to savagery of the Bone Crushers, and still had his arm in a sling.  He was in no condition to compete; but Jamie has the heart of a lion!  Still, he and Santel couldn’t overcome that handicap, and they were defeated.  In fact it seemed like Scott and Santel couldn’t get on the same page at all.  What will happen next?  Can they continue to coexist as a team?  Will there be repercussions on January 14th?

Next, Jimi the High-Flying Hippie cashed in his “Money in the Bank” briefcase for a shot at the PWR Heavyweight Championship, against the Omega, Aaron Draven.

What a tremendous, back-and-forth match this was, fans, with aerial excitement galore!

But before the match could conclude, that renegade strongman, Joe Rosa, came out of nowhere to attack Omega, causing a disqualification, to end the fight.

Rosa seemed to want to send a message….. to let everyone in PWR know that he has returned to action, and to especially put Omega on alert that he’s coming for the PWR Heavyweight Championship!

How will Omega react to this direct challenge?

Fans, you can find out on Saturday, January 14th, at 7pm, at the Saga Club in Erie.  Be there!

And oh, by the way, Aaron was valiant enough to request that Jimi’s briefcase be returned to him, since Jimi didn’t have a fair chance (due to the outside interference of Rosa).  I concurred, and Jimi once more has a “fully loaded” Money-in the-Bank contract!

The second half began with a seemingly sad announcement by the passionate Brittany Force, about her career.  But she was interrupted by a newcomer to PWR, Sara Feeney.

The entertaining and athletic Feeney put up a quality challenge, but was no match for the skilled warrior Brittany.
I wonder if this changes how Brittany feels – what is next on her agenda?  Is she still considering retirement?

Perhaps we will find out on January 14th.  Reserve your tickets now!

After that, Lumberjack Leroux tried once more to wrest the gold of the Lake Erie Championship from around the waist of the Black Sheep, Benett Cole.

But to no avail, as both men were counted out, brawling throughout the crowd. These two wrestlers simply don’t like each other, and neither wants to give an inch.

Is this the end of their bitter rivalry, or will Lumberjack get another chance to redeem himself, and finally win the prestigious Lake Erie Championship?

Lastly, the incredible main event was worth the wait, and was definitely a “match of the year” candidate.

The Fabulous John McChesney and Big Time Bill Collier met in a ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’ match, in which you (the great fans of PWR) brought the weapons, which were all totally legal, for either man to use!

These two combatants fought for over 30 minutes, using whatever makeshift weapons they could construct out of the materials that fans left for them.

(My personal favorite moment came during the Star Wars “Light Saber” battle they had!)

It was brutal. It was pure carnage. It was unparalleled physicality.

Neither man will ever be the same.

But when it was over, John stood tall, with his hand held high in the ring, as PWR closed the books on another successful year.

Fans, talk about gutsy.  Talk about taking risks.

My word; that’s what Jamie Scott and James Santel may be doing, in February, when they possibly put their careers on the line, against The Bone Crushers, inside a 15 foot high steel cage of twisted fury!

Against Santel’s better judgment, Scott challenged the Bone Crushers, through their manager (the talking excrement known as Scotty Roberts), to a “Loser Leaves PWR” match in February.

Will the Bone Crushers accept?  We’ll find out on Saturday, January 14th!

I can’t believe that Scott & Santel are willing to risk their careers, in a match against a team which they’ve never been able to defeat!   And inside a steel cage!

What are they thinking?!?!?  Lord have mercy, I can’t even begin to imagine Pro Wrestling Rampage without Jamie Scott around!

It’s official.  Rocky Reynolds, who boycotted the December PWR show (in his words) “out of general principle and due to the gregarious unfairness of the wrestling miscreants in Pro Wrestling Rampage,” has exercised his rematch clause, to face the new PWR Champion (Omega Aaron Draven) on January 14th, at the Saga Club.

Rocky, who held the championship for almost two years, before losing it to Omega in November, during an amazing Steel Cage Match (that people are still talking about), has guaranteed the world that he’ll win back his championship, in a fair fight, because he is (in his words) “the better man, the best man, the only man” in Pro Wrestling Rampage.

Omega, however, remains undaunted, and is confident that he has the ability and wrestling skill to retain the gold.

What will happen, fans?  Reserve your tickets now, to find out!  January 14th is only a matter of weeks away!

Current Champions Aces High (The “Spotlight” Marcus Knight and Andre Kannon Alexander) seem very confident in their chances and expect to retain their PWR Tag-Team Championship on January 14th, when they face the behemoth “Notorious” Shane Taylor and the irrepressible J-Rocc.  They told me that not only do they have the needed skills to get the job done, but they don’t think that Shane and J-Rocc will be able to get along together, for an entire match.  In fact, they are banking much of their strategy on that premise, and have a few surprises in store for the challengers.

Will it pay off on Saturday the 14th?

Fans, this one oughta be great!

Fans, has the bitter battle between the Fabulous John McChesney and his arch nemesis, Big Time Bill Collier finally ended?

I, for one, hope so.

Not because they didn’t provide startling and simply awesome matches – they certainly did that!

But because I feel that I may no longer be able to provide a safe environment for the fans and other wrestlers, if these two continue to go at each other….

It’s like they only see each other, and don’t care what’s between them.  They will destroy anything which gets in their way!

They are like two charging bulls; and the PWR arenas can’t seem to contain their charges!

Will we see another “clash of these titans” on January 14th?

Or has their stringent war finally ceased?

I will tell you that one feud definitely isn’t over ….

And that’s the conflict between Lumberjack Leroux and the Black Sheep Benett Cole.

There’s so much hatred and venom, spewing between these two battle-scarred warriors, that it’s hard to see the forest for the trees!

Lumberjack claims that he hasn’t yet had a fair fight with Cole, or a true opportunity to win the Lake Erie Championship.

The Black Sheep says that Lumberjack doesn’t deserve any more chances, or anyone’s respect; he’s done with Lumberjack, as far as he’s concerned.

Fans, what do you think?

Should Lumberjack get another occasion to fight for the championship?

Let me know your thoughts?????

And I’ll make an announcement on Saturday, January 14th, based on your input!

Fans, just who the heck does Smokin’ Joe Rosa think he is?

How dare he interfere in a PWR Heavyweight Championship match!

That’s showing a lot of gall, in my opinion.

Well, Rosa has demanded reinstatement, and a new contract with Pro Wrestling Rampage, which I’ve granted.

I know that this young stallion has all the ability in the world, and is one of the strongest men around; and he’s definitely confident in his abilities.

But we’ll see how well he does, when his opponent knows he’s coming! Joe, be careful what you wish for!

The fans will have a true opportunity to asses you on Saturday, January 14th!

What a heartfelt message we received from the beautiful and athletic Brittany Force, at the December PWR show.

I didn’t realize all the injuries which she has racked up, and the pain she is in.

She’s had one of the greatest careers ever, in the history of any women’s division –

Simply put, there’s no other female wrestler more talented than the amazing Brittany Force.

But just what will she decide about her future?

We’ll find out on Saturday the 14th!

I’m keeping my fingers crossed!

That’s it for now, fans.
Check back in a week or so, for another update.
Until then, I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays, and say that, as always,

“Let’s Keep It In The Ring!”
